Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF)

What is SPF?
    Spray polyurethane foam (SPF)  is an insulating foam plastic that goes on as a liquid and then expands many times its original size - completely sealing and conforming to any open space.  

Why use SPF?

  • Foam is the superior insulator.
            Foam is used to insulate freezers and refrigerators in commercial and residential applications.  Foam is also used to insulate 5 day ice chests.

  • Foam minimizes air infiltration.
       Air infiltration can account for over 40% of your heating and cooling costs.

  • Foam seals attics.
       SPF creates a semi-conditioned space in your attic.  A/C equipment will be operating in a comfortable environment - effectively reducing capacity requirements, maintenance, and wear of  your HVAC equipment.  No more superheated attics.
